I grew up with dogs. They were never pets. They were family, teachers, guardians.
As an adult, my life became one of movement, traveling the world leading Dance of Liberation® experiences. In that rhythm, there was little space to care for a dog of my own, even though my mother’s lifelong devotion to rescuing dogs always lived deeply in my heart.
For my 50th birthday, I chose a life-changing gift: my Chow Chow, Sage.
From that moment on, the rhythm of my life shifted. I became a mama. Home became sanctuary. Daily walks became ritual. Presence took on an entirely new meaning.
Within a year and a half, Sage & I made our great return to Israel, where we now live by the sea, walking the beach daily, anchored by devotion, presence, companionship & love.
The Chow Chow Guardian jewelry was born from that bond ~ an honoring of the guardian Spirit that walks beside us.
