What materials are the Winged Ones made from?

Open tab

All of our Winged Ones power objects are crafted with exquisite attention to detail and made with high-quality materials. The primary material we offer for our jewelry pieces is sterling silver. Sterling silver is a durable and beautiful metal that holds its shape well over time, making it perfect for creating intricate designs inspired by the wisdom and teachings of the Eagle.

1. Reflect on your intentions: Take a moment to contemplate your intentions, desires, and goals. Consider the qualities or energies you wish to embody or cultivate in your life. Trust your inner guidance and choose the design that resonates with you on a deep level. Sometimes, our intuition knows what we need even before our logical mind does.

3. Connect with the symbolism: Explore the symbolism behind each Winged Ones design. Consider the meaning and qualities associated with different elements, such as specific gemstones, sacred symbols, or shapes. See if any of these resonate with your journey, values, or spiritual path. This connection with the symbolism can help you select a design that feels aligned with your personal journey.

1. Start with the DreamWeaver Choker: The DreamWeaver choker, being adjustable, can be worn snugly around your neck as a shorter piece. Its closer fit creates a lovely base for layering.

What factors contribute to the pricing of a customized piece?

Open tab

1. Design Complexity: The complexity of the design plays a significant role in determining the price. Intricate or highly detailed designs may require more time, skill, and resources to bring to life, which can affect the overall cost.

2. Materials Used: The type and quality of materials used in the customization process can impact the price. For example, if you choose a specific grade of gold or incorporate gemstones or other precious materials, the cost will be influenced accordingly.

3. Customization Requests: Each customization request is unique and may require additional time and effort from the designers to accommodate. This could involve modifying an existing design, incorporating personalized engravings, or creating a completely new piece based on your specifications.

4. Time and Labor: Customization projects often require additional time and labor compared to pre-designed pieces. This includes consultations, design development, prototyping, and meticulous attention to detail during the crafting process.

Can I order a piece in bronze or copper? If so, what are those materials like?

Open tab

Yes, this would be considered a customized Winged Ones.

Bronze is an alloy consisting primarily of copper with the addition of other metals, typically tin. It has been used for centuries in various applications, including jewelry, due to its durability and unique aesthetic qualities. Bronze has a warm, earthy tone and often develops a beautiful patina over time, which adds to its ancient charm. It is known for its strength, making it suitable for creating intricate designs and detailed craftsmanship. Bronze is a popular choice for those seeking a rustic or vintage-inspired ancient wisdom for modern living feel and look.

Copper is a reddish-brown metal that has been used by humans for thousands of years. It is known for its high thermal and electrical conductivity, as well as its natural beauty. Copper has a distinct warm and rich color that can range from bright and shiny to a darker, aged patina. Like bronze, copper can develop a patina over time, giving it a unique and evolving appearance. Copper jewelry often exudes a sense of warmth and earthiness, making it a popular choice for both contemporary and artisanal designs.

Both bronze and copper are considered base metals, and their use in our Winged Ones jewelry offers a distinct look and feel, with their own unique properties and characteristics. It's important to note that bronze and copper may cause a harmless greenish discoloration on some individuals' skin due to the natural oxidation process. This can be minimized by applying a protective coating or avoiding prolonged contact with moisture.

If you have any further questions or need additional information about bronze, copper, or any other materials, feel free to ask. We're here to assist you!

How should I care for and clean my Winged Ones jewelry?

Open tab

Just as a gem must be polished and cut to reveal its most brilliant essence, we have cleansed and primed your Power Object so that it is ready to be activated.

Each piece of Winged Ones jewelry is carved in sacred space, energetically cleared through smudging, infused with the intention of Eagle Medicine, and placed on the altar where it is activated by sacred music and mantra.

Your piece is delicate and so we offer a special wooden Altar box plus velvet pouch to help keep it protected. When you are not wearing your piece, we recommend keeping it in its pouch and box to prevent oxidation.

If you feel it needs a periodic cleansing, we recommend smudging with

sacred white sage, sweetgrass, or cedar. You may cleanse your crystal in fresh flowing spring, river, or lake water and energize it in the Sun.

In the event the silver begins to oxidize, look for a gentle silver polish made out of natural ingredients and use that to return its luster. Be careful not to submerge your power object in water or expose it to unnatural/harmful chemicals or oils.

Does Winged Ones use man-made stones & why?

Open tab

We choose to work with man-made stones such as Opalite and Blue Opal for several reasons. Firstly, these stones offer consistent quality and color, allowing us to create jewelry pieces that meet our high standards of craftsmanship and aesthetics. Additionally, man-made stones provide an ethical and sustainable alternative to naturally occurring gemstones, as they can be created in controlled environments without causing harm to the environment or supporting unethical mining practices.Opalite, for example, is a beautiful and translucent stone that resembles the iridescence of natural opals. It is created through a process that combines minerals and glass to produce a stunning and consistent appearance. Working with Opalite allows us to incorporate the mesmerizing beauty of opals into our designs while ensuring a reliable and uniform quality.Blue Opal, another man-made stone, offers vibrant blue hues reminiscent of natural opals. It is crafted using a similar process, resulting in a stunning stone that captures the essence of natural opals without the variations and imperfections often found in their genuine counterparts.By choosing man-made stones like Opalite and Blue Opal, we can offer our customers unique and eye-catching pieces that align with our commitment to ethical sourcing, quality craftsmanship, and sustainable practices.

Do Eagles mate for life?

Open tab

Yes, Eagles are known to exhibit monogamous behavior and often mate for life. Once a pair of Eagles forms a bond, they typically remain together for many years, sometimes even for their entire lives. This monogamous behavior is often seen in various Eagle species, including the bald eagle and the golden eagle.

Eagle pairs engage in elaborate courtship rituals, which can involve aerial displays, synchronized flights, and vocalizations. They work together to build and maintain a nest, take turns incubating the eggs, and share the responsibilities of raising their offspring.

The strong bond between Eagle mates symbolizes loyalty, partnership, and commitment. They rely on each other for survival and successful reproduction, demonstrating a deep connection and cooperation within their partnership.

It's important to note that while many Eagles exhibit monogamous behavior, there can be exceptions and variations depending on the specific species, environmental factors, and individual circumstances. Some Eagles may change mates if their partner dies or if the pair is unable to successfully reproduce.

Eagles go through a Rebirth at age 40?

Open tab

There is a popular belief or myth that eagles go through a physical initiation or transformation process at the age of 40, which is often referred to as the "Eagle's rebirth" or "Eagle's rejuvenation." However, it's important to note that this notion is not based on factual scientific information about Eagles.

The idea of Eagles undergoing a transformative process at a certain age is more metaphorical or symbolic in nature. It is often used as a metaphor for human life and personal growth, drawing inspiration from the majestic qualities and behaviors of Eagles.

In this metaphorical sense, the notion suggests that individuals, like eagles, can experience a period of reflection, self-discovery, and renewal as they reach a certain stage in their lives. It signifies a time of transformation, shedding old patterns, and embracing new beginnings. It can be seen as a time of personal reinvention, increased self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of one's purpose and potential.

It's important to remember that the concept of the Eagle's rebirth or initiation at the age of 40 is not a scientifically established fact about eagles themselves. Instead, it serves as a symbolic representation of personal transformation and growth in various cultural and spiritual contexts.

Is Eagle pose in Yoga connected to Eagle medicine?

Open tab

Yes, Eagle Pose in yoga shares a symbolic connection with the concept of Eagle medicine. In yoga, Eagle Pose, also known as Garudasana, is a standing balance pose that involves wrapping one leg around the other leg and intertwining the arms in a similar manner. This posture mimics the physical form of an Eagle with its wings wrapped around its body.

Eagle medicine, on the other hand, is a concept rooted in Native American traditions and spirituality. It represents the wisdom, vision, and power associated with the Eagle as a spirit animal or power animal. It is believed that connecting with the energy of the Eagle can bring about clarity, intuition, and a broader perspective in navigating life's challenges.

While the physical posture of Eagle Pose in yoga may not directly embody the spiritual aspects of Eagle medicine, it can serve as a symbolic reminder of the qualities associated with the Eagle, such as grace, focus, and strength. Practicing Eagle Pose with mindfulness and intention can help cultivate a sense of inner power and connection with the qualities represented by the Eagle.

The Eagle Dance is a traditional Native American dance that holds deep cultural and spiritual significance. It is performed by various indigenous tribes across North America, each with their own unique variations and ceremonial practices.

The Eagle Dance is associated with the power and symbolism of the Eagle as a sacred bird. The Eagle is revered for its majestic presence, keen vision, and connection to the spiritual realms. The dance is performed to honor and embody the spirit of the Eagle, seeking its guidance, strength, and blessings.

The dance typically involves intricate footwork, graceful movements, and gestures that imitate the flight and behavior of Eagles. Dancers may wear regalia adorned with Eagle feathers, symbolic colors, and other traditional elements.

The Eagle Dance is performed on special occasions, ceremonies, and gatherings, such as powwows and tribal celebrations. It serves as a way to connect with ancestral traditions, express gratitude to the natural world, and invoke the power and teachings of the Eagle.
